As a fan and someone with close connections to the Atlanta Falcons, I am very exited for this season. The Hall of Fame game is August 8th, with the Bengals playing the Cowboys. The Falcons kickoff the pre-season on August 13th against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been awarded rookie tight Leroy Banks on a waiver claim from the Atlanta Falcons and picked up two rookie defensive players. Kansas City signed defensive lineman Jeffery Fitzgerald and defensive back Andre Jones, both rookie free agents. Fitzgerald played 12 games for Kansas State last season and Jones was a two-way player in 47 games at Akron.
