Atlanta Falcons’ Roddy White Admits Fathering Baby

(TMZ) Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White is stepping up to the plate in his paternity case and admitting he IS the father of a 5-month-old baby boy — but there’s a catch … TMZ has learned.

White filed legal documents in Georgia earlier this month … acknowledging he DID father a child with a Georgia banker named Stacey Hott … and he’s willing to accept responsibility.

But according to the docs, White isn’t ready to fork over child support just yet — despite Hott’s claim that he’s capable of providing a “generous” amount due to his massive NFL salary.

Unless the two can strike a settlement quickly, a judge will get to decide Roddy’s payments.

Calls to Roddy’s people have not been returned. more on this story

What do you guys think about this.

The veteran Gonzalez has been dealing with a back injury but was able to fully participate in practice on Friday and remain probable to play against the Colts.

Left tackle Sam Baker is also struggling with a back injury which will keep him out of the game.

The full list of inactive players for the Falcons includes the following names: CB Darrin Walls, RB Antone Smith, LB Spencer Adkins, C Brett Romberg, LT Sam Baker, DT Carlton Powell, DE Cliff Matthews

Foot healed, Julio Jones a regular presence at Falcons’ workouts

Arthur Blank, Thomas Dimitroff, Julio JonesAP

The wide receiver the Atlanta Falcons traded up to take in the first round of the NFL draft is healthy and hard at work.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Falcons rookie receiver Julio Jones has been a regular at player-organized workouts since he was cleared by a foot specialist in Charlotte.

Jones had one of the most impressive performances of any player at any position at the NFL Scouting Combine despite running with a broken bone in his foot. That performance was part of the reason the Falcons gave up a bounty of draft picks to move into position to select Jones.

The Falcons have been averaging about 30 players in attendance at their workouts.

That’s all the news for today.
